Despite all expectations and the opinions of tennis expert Sloane Stephens defeated madison Keys in finals of 2017 US Open.

“Sloane is truly one of my favorite people and to get to play her was really special. Obviously I didn’t play my best tennis today and was disappointed,” Keys said. “But Sloane, being the great friend that she is, was very supportive. And if there’s someone I have to lose to today, I’m glad it’s her.”

The two players shared the same destiny during the Australian Open when they have the skip that competition because of the surgeries. They were very supportive to each other, trying to overcome that tough part in their careers.

In the end they provided the the best possible finish of the season.

And above all they brought a little bit of humanity and every day fun in tennis.
