The US team defeated the International team.

Golfing legend Phil Mickelson is offering a very unique opportunity for golf fans. It is one that will cost them an immense amount of money though.

Mickelson, who has 42 PGA Tour wins in his career and has won the Masters three times, is offering golfers the opportunity to play a road with him. This is part of a special charity promotion to benefit recently wounded members of the United States military. It will also provide the golfer the opportunity to share this experience with two others.

The charity auction will provide the winner with a special 18-hole round of golf with Mickelson. It will entail a foursome between Mickelson, the auction winner and two other people chosen by the winner.

The golf round will be held at the Rancho Santa Fe country club located just outside San Diego. It is located not too far from Mickelson’s birthplace.

The value of the experience is estimated at $250,000. The bidding for the event started at $100,000. The auction will continue until November 1.

The auction will benefit Operation Healing Forces. The organization supports members of the United States military Special Forces who have been wounded in combat. It assists in helping soldiers with their physical and mental needs as they aim to move into civilian life following an injury.

The experience is significant as it provides a participant with an experience with Phil Mickelson, one of the more prominent golfers in modern PGA Tour history. Lefty has been competing as a pro since 1992 and has won five major titles. He is also a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. He has also represented the United States for President’s Cup and Ryder Cup events in the past.

The event is also very intimate when compared with pro-am events. Although many everyday people get to participate in such events with pros like Mickelson, such events are used by the pros to prepare for much larger events and are often filled with a greater amount of tension. This charity event offers a more relaxed and potentially enjoyable experience.

The online auction is currently being held at www.charitybuzz.com/philmickelson. The auction closes on November 1. As of October 21, there were six bids at $100,000 although the total value is expected to increase depending on the potential bids that come in.

The golfing trip must take place at some point between November 15, 2017 and February 15, 2018 although the specific timing will be based on Mickelson’s availability. Lunch will be included; the cost for lunch is covered in the bid.

The travel expenses and the hotel costs for the experience are not included and must be covered by the participant.

This auction is being supported by Charitybuzz, a group that offers various unique experiences for people as a means of raising funds for various charitable organizations. The site offers many unique golf experiences like two badges to the 2018 Masters. Other experiences available through the site include a luxury suite to an upcoming Tim McGraw and Faith Hill show and a chess lesson with grandmaster Robert Hess.
